Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/23/2010(UTC) Posts: 2		My Kenmore 70 Series Electric Dryer Won't Start. I read other internet posts and replaced the thermal fuse but it still won't start. When I push the start button it makes a noise like it is going to start but immediately shuts down. Any other ideas?

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: APP Team Joined: 2/12/2012(UTC) Posts: 5,556		Hi. Disassemble the dryer to get the chute out.Check if nothing is blocking the blower wheel. If not - replace the motor Part number: 279827 The lint chute Part number: 348368 #1 on the diagram. Post the results. Simon.
