The "up" arrow on the controle panel stopped working. It is used to set the timer, and the Temp. of the oven. The "down" arrow works fine. Can it be repaired or does the whole panel have to be replaced.
Also, how do I find the year it was built?

Hello,

The solution in such situation is to replace the oven control board. Unfortunately this part for you range has been discontinued and is no longer available.

Possible that this part can be repaired. You have to search the web for such places.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Parts for Jenn-Air SVD48600P Range - AppliancePartsPros.com

I have a svd48600p and had the same issue. If you are handy with a screw driver and super glue you just take off the front of the panel which will expose the push buttons and you will most likely find one of the plastic pieces have snapped off so you will need to glue it back the way it was, just make sure you have it in the exact right place so when you push the arrow button it will be lined up right.
