I have a cracked inner glass on my Kitchenaid oven door. I have found posts on other models but not on this model. I can remove the door ok but separating the door panels with the hinges spring loaded is a little scary. Any guides available or advise? I work on stuff all the time so I can fix most things I run into.

It's doable, and I've done it before by trial and error, but not something I would be looking forward to do, as I forgot the details.

Here is the operators manual It has the proper door removal procedure. You will notice that the hinges (springs) are locked with the allen keys or nail etc. Here are your parts Parts for Whirlpool KEBS277DBL11 Wall Oven - AppliancePartsPros.comIf you click on the inner door glass (item 3 in the Oven Door Parts section), a new page will open with more info and a Q&A section which may be helpful to you. |

I have the door removal down, now I need to know about disassembly of the inner panel specifically the spring loaded hinges. I read somewhere that you shouldn't unload the springs. Anyone know about the inner panel removal? There are 4 sets of screws on the inside and 2 sets seem to attach to the hinges.
