Very Important, Particularly with a Gas Dryer

The thermal fuse will blow because something has gotten too hot in the dryer, usually the vent system. Please thoroughly clean the dryer, particularly the venting system.

I would replace the thermostat also, this is cheap preventive care.

Good luck.

Thanks, makes a lot of sense, had a feeling there may be a reason behind it, dryer has a pretty long run in attic before exiting roof, will check flex pipe for buildup, correction, did check it's not a flex pipe, but a 4in gal steel run, some build up but not that much will remove and clean this wknd

Most common issue is a bad thermal fuse. What is the complete model number of the dryer?

Gene.
