Ran a cycle over night. Dishes were clean, but the bottom is full of water no buttons or lights will work. Breaker is not tripped.

Here are your parts Parts for Whirlpool DU915PWPS2 Dishwasher - AppliancePartsPros.comYou cannot tell if the unit is actually getting power by just looking at the breaker. Try turning it off/on slowly a couple times. Measure the voltage where power enters the unit. Some are hard wired and some use a line cord depends how it was installed. remove power from the unit and the wire nuts that connect it to power. Then reconnect power and measure at the connections (white to black) should be 120 volts. If you have no experience working with electricity then this may be better left to a pro. You do not want to cause a short circuit or get a shock. The thermal fuse (item 4 in the Frame And Console Parts section) may have blown. Remove power from the measurement and the thermal fuse and measure it with a meter, should be 0 ohms. If it is blown be sure to use the new harness that comes with the fuse. This is a fairly common problem so is at the top of the list as a possible cause. It is also safer to check than doing a live voltage check. |
