i went to put clothes in dryer to find washer still full of water but it was a finished cycle looked at pump checked drain hose, lid switch 2 hrs later i realized the washer was going about its business but did everything ever so slowly.it worked fine one minute and the next runs but everything in slow speed

There are several possibilities here, the timer and and motor being the most likely ones. Try changing out the timer, but if that does not fix things the motor is the next likely suspect.
However, given the age of the machine and the cost and uncertainty involving repairs you may want to consider a replacement. Basic top loading machines seem to be on sale now and if you can get a new one for $300-$350 that might be the best way to go.

is there a reset on motor or maybe wire come off or loose

There is not reset, but take off the front and run it and see if the belt has stretched or is a problem.
