I have a Jenn+ Air oven. The clock wasnt working and oven would not bake. I replaced the clock and am now able to set temp etc, but the oven still will not heat.
After setting temp at say, 400 deg, after maybe 30 secs it changes to 100 degs. The element never gets hot.
Element has been ohmed out its good. Checking for voltage across element is 0 Volts, each leg to ground is 110.
The voltage across L1 & L2 is 220v where its connected to oven terminals.
Stove top works 100%.
I was told broiler has never worked.
Also, was told that before oven died that sometimes it would work on 3rd or 4th try.
Ideas?
I think board in back is bad.
TIA

Hi.

I think you are right it's the relay board

Part number: 12001689
Part number: 12001689

But before replacing it check the hi - limit thermostat at the

back, it should read continuity Part number: 74009837
Part number: 74009837

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Body parts for Jenn-Air SVE47500W - AppliancePartsPros.com

Post the results.

I had removed what looks like that hi limit off the top of the oven box thinking it was a thermostat, when I got it out realized it was NOT the t'stat.
Anyway, ohmed it out, 0 ohms, assumed it was good.
???.
Thanks.

Hi.

If the hi-limit is good - replace the relay board.
