HEllo I just moved and my dryer won't heat nor the timer will advance. It only blows cold air and the timer will not stop. I already tried buying a new connection and the plug for the dryer since the house we moved into is a 4 wire and my dryer was set up for 3 wires. What can I do???

The above is confusing is it "nor the timer will advance" or "timer will not stop" ( timer advances but will not shut the unit off).

Are you sure you did the 4 wire hook up correctly" re: removed/disconnected the ground strap and then used the green/ground wire in the line cord to ground the machine frame?

If the timer does not advance does it do this in both timed dry and auto modes?

Have you checked that the unit is getting 240 volts?
