HI,

My whirlpool range has an issue that while doing normal or convection baking the broiler will automatically turn on and send the temperature skyrocketing, without ever changing what is showing on the display - which burns up everything ....

Once you shut it off and try it again it starts normal, but after a few minutes it flips to broiler again.

What is the button sequence to push to bring up the service menu? I had tried it before and done a reset.

Hi.

I don't think this control board has self repair feature.
You can try to unplug the oven for a few minutes and that doesn't help - replace the control.

Simon.
