Hotpoint refrigerator CTX14CYZBRWH makes a ticking noise from the evap coil where the small cap tube enters evap coil in the freezer section. Any ideas on how to repair this? Maybe a dirty cond. coil?

Hi.
To have a clean condenser coils is always a good idea. But I don't think it will make a difference in your case. Unless the fridge is not working properly you probably should leave it along. It's a quite expensive project - repair of the sealed system.
Simon.

Simon. Thanks, I was thinking maybe the higher head pressure due to a dirty cond. coil may be causing the noise. Think I'll clean the coil and see if it changes anything ....
