Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 10/25/2012(UTC) Posts: 2		Hotpoint refrigerator CTX14CYZBRWH makes a ticking noise from the evap coil where the small cap tube enters evap coil in the freezer section. Any ideas on how to repair this? Maybe a dirty cond. coil?

Unless the fridge is not working properly you probably should leave it along. It's a quite expensive project - repair of the sealed system. Simon.

Simon. Thanks, I was thinking maybe the higher head pressure due to a dirty cond. coil may be causing the noise. Think I'll clean the coil and see if it changes anything ....
