Greetings,

I have a Whirlpool SB130PER4 Blanket-O-Flame wall oven in my house, that does not heat.

When I turn it on, the ignitor glows bright orange, and I can smell gas, but it doesn't appear to light up inside the burner.

I'm looking for advice on next steps I should take in troubleshooting the issue.

* Should I test the ignitor (How do I check how much power it's pulling?)
* Maybe the burner itself is bad?

Any help y'all might be able to provide will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi.

Almost every functional part for your oven is no longer available.
Does the broil works?
To check the amp draw of the ignitor you need to clamp on the amp meter over one ignitor's wire. The normal reading should be 3.2 - 3.6amp. If it's less - replace the ignitor Part number: 786324
Part number: 786324

Here are the breakdown diagrams and http://www.appliancepartspros.c...whirlpool-sb130per4.html

Simon.
