Here are your parts
Model Search

Here is a tech sheet

When you say you turned on the oven and it worked I am assuming the bake element came on but the broil did not. Is this correct?

Remove the element and measure it with a meter. Should be around 20 ohms.
Could be you got a bad element.
if OK
Unplug the unit and remove the back, check that all the wires from the element to the control board are good.
if OK
You probably need a new control board

hello and thanks for the reply, You are correct about the elements; the bake element comes on but not the broil; also all other functions appear normal. I was able to check the broil element with a multimeter and got a reading of 18.7 to low 19's, mostly 18.8. the wiring looks ok. I took out the control board and that all looks ok. Is there a fuse somewhere there? I didn't see one. Since I am not an electrician and not very familiar with using the meter not sure how to test and not familiar with symbols on the schematic.

Broil element looks OK

There is a thermal cutout but it affects both the broil and the bake elements.
Item 3 in the Cabinet section. It should be attached to the back of the oven case.
You may want to check it unless you have the wiring diagram that came with the unit and it exactly matches the one I found online. Sometimes they update tech sheets and units without noting the changes made.

If the cutoff is OK and the wiring is OK all that is left is the control board
