I have a whirlpool dryer that gets way too hot so I purchased a new thermostat part # 694674 to install on it , the old one has 3 wires going to it ,two are larger and one is a thinner gauge wire, the new thermostat has only 2 connections on it for a wire hookup and an adjuster in the center ,how do i install this correctly and how do i adjust the temp on it if needed? Thank You for any help on this. MoosemanD.
