I just purchased part AP5263471, a water inlet valve, and part AP3137510, the refrigerator p.c. board kit for my Kitchen Aid refrigerator. They were installed two days ago and seemed to be working fine. Tonight, the icemaker went through the harvest cycle and the water to it came on but would not turn off. Is there a way to determine which of those two parts is at fault? Thank you.

HI.

The easiest way to determine if this is the icemaker or the water valve is to unplug the water valve solenoid while the water is coming into the icemaker. If it stops - replace the icemaker, if not - water valve.

Simon.
