The exhaust vent switch on my Jenn-Air Electric Grill/stove (model C221) went bad the other day (appeard to simply melt). I plan on replacing the switch, but while I can understand why the exhaust fan wont work (the switch wont even move), I dont understand why none of the burners work either? The 'red light' comes on when I turn one of the knobs, but the coils wont heat.
Is there some sort of 'breaker' switch that maybe got tripped? Or wont the coils work without a functioning exhaust?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi.

Here is the fan switch Part number: 12001130
Part number: 12001130

But it's no longer available.

You need to reset the circuit breaker then the burners will work.

Thanks Simon - I'll reset the breaker and thanks for the part number. I found this on ******** - http://www.********.com/itm/120...&hash=item4ab435674f
Do you think it will be an decent replacement? Or anywhere else where I could find a replacement?

Thanks
Pete

Hi.

If the part you found crosses over to the original part number then use it.

Simon.
