Comp. very hot, there is a clicking sound, fan is running. Cleaned coils hoping that was problem. Not the trouble

Hi.

Cool down the compressor, remove the start devise and if it's rattles - replace it. Before ordering the part use the multimeter to check the continuity between the 3 compressor's pins and the ground. If there is continuity between the pins and no continuity to the ground - replace the relay/overload Part number: 2188831
