My electric dryer is not drying the clothes completely. The heat comes on to dry the clothes but does not dry them completely and leaves the clothes damp.
Do you have a wiring diagram for this unit?
I see that all the following are in series:
Highlimit thermostat
Thermister
Thermal cut off fuse
Non resettable thermal fuse
So if the heating element comes on and the fan works and the tumbler rotates then the problem cannot be in the above items, am I correct?
What else is left except the control board.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. Check the thermistor first. At room temp. it's resistance should be about 10 000 ohm. If it checks OK - then most likely it's the control board. The thermistor Part number: 8577274

Simon,
Thank you for your response. I originally checked my thermister and it was giving me a 8000 ohm reading, so I went ahead and changed the control board. I am still having the clothes being left slightly damp.
Went back and checked the thermister again and now I am just get 1ohm resistance. A new thermister is on order.
Is there a way to bypass the faulty thermister so I can dry my clothes while I wait for the new thermister to arrive?
