Following power drop outs, Normal light blinking and attempted reset by turning off AC to DW. From threads on site, appeared to be issue with control board. Ordered from AppPartsPros and installed. Seemed to work ok for about two weeks, then normal light flashing again. They sent a replacement control board, which I installed.
Problem now is that, while I can select all cycles (Heavy, Normal, Light, Rinse Only) via panel, I cannot select Hi Temps Scrub, Energy Saver Dry, Control Lock. I can only get the Delay to select the 4 hour function.
Dishwasher will run through the cycles (wash and rinse), but the Dry light and Clean lights never come on.
Any suggestions, other than a large sledge? Thanks

Dishwasher DOES NOT run full cycle - It will only wash and when done, the normal light blinks. Have to turn off the breaker, wait a few minutes, turn it back on, select Rinse and Start. Not a very automatic way to clean dishes....

Thanks for the help. Just wanted to update the "ghost" actions. DW will run through wash cycle, then revert to blinking NORMAL - as I noted before. BUT, there is a new twist. If I open the Door after it starts blinking, and wait a bit, the Normal stops blinking. If I then close the door, press Start, it continues with the RINSE cycle (of course, it never shows DRY or Clean after it is done rinsing)

You still may want to replace the console first.

I ordered and received the panel, but did not have time to install yet (fortunately). There are now NO lights on panel, when any key is pressed. I have to get a new meter to test for ac at door switch, etc., but am wondering if you could provide any DC measurements, in case problem is with the PS under the DW. Thanks

I'm afraid I did not get clear what did you call "PS".
No lights on the panel can be related to the panel problems.

Gene,
The final chapter: It was dead because the thermal fuse finally gave out. Replaced it this morning and cycled through a full clean cycle. I give you a high five for the console - wish I had posted before ordering the control board. Anyway, many thanks (especially from the wife!)
