Dryer runs fine, however will not dry the clothes. Will not 'heat up'. Has new valve assembly, new coils and new igniter. When I start the dryer, it seems to run fine. When it comes time for the igniter to come 'on' and start glowing, all that happens is a single, fairly loud 'click' that seems to come from the coil area. The igniter does not heat up. Dryer continues to run until end of timed cycle with no flame. Please help. Getting too cold to dry clothes on the clothes-line.

The new igniter, installed two weeks ago, failed. New one on order. Don't know yet if it is the problem but will post results.

Make sure that the exhaust line is not clogged and the air flow is not restricted.

Just checked the air flow, did have a 'build up' of lint. Replaced the igniter and everything working fine now. Think it was the igniter. Igniter had a white spot the way you described in a different post. Helped locate the problem. Thank You

You are welcome. I'm glad you were able to fix it.
