I put in a new rear drum bearing and when I place the drum back, it is rubbing on the front panel. The drum is slightly tilting down. Before I realized this problem, I completed putting the dryer back together. When I started the machinem there was an intermitting thumping. I took the front and top panels off and started the machine. This is how I discovered the rubbing. Can you help?

Did you check the dryer drum front support bearing, the drum felt seal and the bearing glides and slides (#313, #312 & #316 at the diagram)?

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric DBXR463GD2WW Gas dryer | AppliancePartsPros.com
