I have a Kenmore Elite side-by-side fridge. Makes ice just fine. Won't dispense. I opened the door, removed the ice bin, held down the door switch and attempted to dispense. Nothing. No humming of motor at all Light and water work fine on the door Thanks Paul

After removing the front cover a few pieces of plastic fell out of the opening. The white plastic "control bracket"....(the plastic part that everything is attached to)....has very flimsy "snap in" brackets for the dispenser and light switches. One of these little arms broke off...and the switch is floating around inside. I powered up and checked the switch...it dispenses ice.
So....do you carry the white plastic control bracket?....is so is there any tricks to replacing it?.... Thanks Paul I think this plastic base that everything is attached to is called the control bracket....the schematic is not very clear.

This job is not too difficult. Just follow the instructions from the previously attached file. Gene.
