Posted several days about defrost problems and it appears I have a bad main board, problem is I just replaced board less then 9 months ago what is the real problem? Is there a defect with boards or just bad luck. I don't want to replace board and then wonder when it is going out again, I luckily caught it before loosing any food but could have lost everything. What is the general opinion about this frig?

You might live in an area that gets power surges, best to put a surge protector in the wall outlet, I use a Belkin 1045 joule surge protector available on Amazon, best to get it before they add sales tax.
