Our dryer workes fine when not connected to the wall - venting into the laundry room.

The dryer is at least a foot out from the wall and the flexible tube from the dryer to the wall is not bent.

The dryer vent from the floor in the laundry room up through to the attic and up to the roof have been cleaned out with a flexible stick with a brush attached to the end. The vent top has been looked at on the roof itself. The vent line has been opened up in the attic (1 story house). Daylight can be see through to the top.

I have made sure that the plug itself does not looked damaged. I took off the panel that shows where the wires to the plug connet to the dryer, they seem to be connected - not loose.

The lint screen gets checked with each load.

I need some help with something else to look at. The dryer is right at a year old, so this is really frustrating.

Hi.

I don't think it's the dryer because it's working without the vent. But to make sure take out and clean the chute.
Use the video for the blower replacement for the instructions on the chute removal.

If the dryer is free of restrictions - you need to call a pro duct cleaning co.

Simon.
