When I checked this unit it was unplugged. I plugged it in and it seemed fine. I set the clock and tested it with a cup of water for 2minutes and it boiled. As I worked on the refrig about 10 minutes the -SE- code appeared. I unplugged it a few minutes and retried it and it came back almost immediately. The customer said this happens when she is not using it and even kicked the breaker 2Xs( possible it is on the same circuit as the refrig.
First, what does the -SE- code mean and second, what tests do I need to perform on which parts?
Thanks Jamie Pancake

Hi.
The SE code means "shorted key". Recommendations are to replace the control panel or smart board. Disconnect the ribbon from the control board, if the SE disappears - replace the control panel.
Unfortunately cannot provide the part numbers because the model number you provided doesn't come up.
Simon.

Thanks very much. Since Samsung doesn't supply a tech sheet with codes your information was invaluable to me.
Thanks Again Jamie Pancake Pancakes Appliance Repair
