I need to replace a burner switch in my GE ceramic top range, model JS968BFBB. Can anyone tell me how to get the glass top off so I can get behind the control panel to replace it? Or is there a way to get the control panel off without dealing with the top? Thanks!!!

Hi.

Pull off the knobs, remove the 4 plastic nuts, remove the glass touch panel. After tha you should be able to get to the switches.
