Hello,
Our relay was burned out on the inside and needed replaced. We ordered part #12002783 to replace the overload relay.

The new kit doesn't match the old one as the old one included a run capacitor. We were able to follow the instructions and wire everything except the wire jumper. The orginal harness only had a blue and white wire. The instructions say to plug jumper wire into 3/16 terminal on old harness. We have no such terminal.

Please let us know where the jumper wire should go. We have attached the blue wire to the overload and the white wire to the PTC start device.

Thank you!

You ordered the wrong part, you should have ordered the factory replacement part AP4077400 Also, put a 1000joule surge protector in the wall outlet, this will prevent future failures.
If you still want to use the part you ordered, you must wire in the run capacitor across the ptc opposite terminals.Hopefully, you wired in the ptc correctly, or you will burn out the compressor
