dryer tumbles but no heat . have tested with ohm meter and found faulty thermal fuse, which I`m going to order. my question is - when testing the 2 gas solenoid coils on my ohm meter {set at 1k } the reading on both individual coils were .5 and 1.5 -is this an acceptable readout or do they need replaced also ? Thanks for your help,this is a great web site which makes repairing things a lot easier! ernie

They are most likely fine. But they are so cheap, you might as well replace them. I would. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
