This thing is driving me crazy, was able to get it down to the arm bending up, thus causing the f30 code trip indicating a bad dispenser motor Here's a vid I took: Whirlpool duet sport dispenser motor arm - YouTubeI think it's just the arm has fatigued after hundreds of cycles as you can see it bend up when the cam tries to push it over. When I push it down, it continues functioning flawlessly. Anyone know if just replacing the two arms and the cam will work, or should I replace the dispenser motor too? I'm just worried the damage to the motor may have been done if the plastic gears have stripped

The lever with the Part number: 8540394
you mentioned in your post is shown as #7 at the diagram. The APP price for this part is less than Sears. You also might need the parts #6 & #11. Gene.

Hi Gene,
I ordered the arm today from you folks; I'll let everyone know how it works once it arrives as this appears to be a common problem with these washers. Hopefully it does the trick.

Hi Folks,
I ordered the lever, and it arrived the next day (holy smokes!), but to no avail, it did not correct the problem. I'm going to try pn 8540395 next to see if that will work
