We have an old (original) GE push-button electric drop-in range. All four elements use four (4) connectors, not two as seen on most replacement parts. Where might I find replacements that use a 4-pin/prong element?
No model or serial number tag can be found on the range or underneath. It dates back to 1961/62 when the house was built. The range controls are labeled as "Hi - 2 - 3 - Lo - Wm - Off"
*** Update *** The ID tag was under a burner, but so badly affected by the heat that only the stamped numbers remained. These are: TV13710 and J P76V1BR.
Any help or just being pointed in the right direction will help. Thanks,

I tried searching for your unit using the numbers as a model number and a part number and had no luck with either.
Perhaps take an element to a good sized GE parts dealer. If you get a knowledgeable counter person they may be able to get a new element for you. Then with luck you can use that part number to cross reference back to your unit. |

Denman, thanks for the suggestions.
Did some more digging on this 50 year old model and found the original user's manual stashed in a file drawer here. As typical, the manual covers several models from G.E. But there is good news.
Per the photos in the manual, we have a "JP76" model "built-in range". The manual says it includes models with a "V" in the model number, so JP76V1BR is correct.
The downside is that it doesn't show up in a Google search except at G.E. So I've asked G.E. if they can reference the correct part number. I won't hold my breath though.
