Three days ago noticed that the area where the freezer door seal makes contact was getting very warm . After a couple days of this the same area that had been hot was cold and everything in the freezer was defrosted. Took everything out kept tabs on temp in freezer at times it would get up to 45 degrees then it would start working ice maker would make ice at the same time the area where the freezer door seal made contact would get hot . This process repeats itself over and over. Any help would be very much appreciated THANK YOU SO MUCH

Hi Randy,

Pull the refrigerator out of the wall. Remove the cover on the bottom and the front grille. Clean the condenser coils. Make sure the fan next to the compressor works good.

Hi Gene,
Same problem, same fridge.....condenser coils were clean, condenser motor and fan running properly, fridge/freezer seals making contact, no ice buildup in freezer, fridge temp fine, freezer not cold enough to freeze ice cream and ice dispenser works intermittently along with seal surface hotspots. Please help me!!!!
