My whirlpool WED5705S (I believe thats the right number) dryer all of a sudden won't come on. I've checked the plugs, and the fusebox. I've also removed the thermo fuse, and checked it with my multimeter, and it seems that the fuse if good (has continuity at least). what should I check next. I'm at a loss, can't really afford a new dryer. thank you in advance.

Here are your parts Replacement parts for WED5705S models | AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the wiring diagram. Your model number was missing a couple digits at the end so I used SW0. All units in this series will be close if not exactly the same when it comes to the wiring. Note: This looks like a non USA model. Did you use your meter when checking the power? Next I would check the door switch and then the start switch. |

Thank you for your help. The problem was a faulty door switch.

You are welcome.
And thanks for getting back to us. Now when others search for a similar problem they will see what actually worked instead of just suggestions about what could be the cause. |
