The gas valve on our dryer won't re-open after burning for about 10 minutes.
Using a DMM I can see 120VAC passes through the limit switch, thermostat, and thermal fuse....so it's present at the input to the gas valve and flame sensor. I also checked the limit switch, thermostat and fuse for continuity and they all measure a few tenths of an ohm.
After the gas shuts off, the ignitor repeatedly glows red for ~10 seconds every couple of minutes, but the gas valve never opens.
If I turn off the dryer and let it sit for ~20 minutes, I can repeat this process again.
From this information can you determine whether the problem is the gas valve or flame sensor (or something else I've failed to consider)? If it's the gas valve I'm inclined to get a new dryer since the cost of the valve alone is about 1/3 the cost of the new dryer.

I should have mentioned a couple of other things: 1) The intake and vent paths for air are clear. 2) 120VAC is present all the way to the gas valve/flame sensor (blue wire) regardless of whether the dryer is working as expected (gas valve open, gas burning) or not (ignitor cycling every couple of minutes).
