Replaced Timer 2/2012 New Problem Washes Runs Wash Cycle When Cycle Ends To Drain Washer Stops Sounds Like Power Is Trying To Engage ? Smell Burning Coming From Control Panel Area Slap Machine On The Side Machine Will Some Times Start Up And Continue To Run And Complete The Wash.

If you are sure the timer is ok, and it probably is then either the motor or the transmission is the problem. Operate it with the front panel off and see what happens when it stops operating. I suspect the motor is turning but the transmission is not.
