Hi I am having a problem with my ice maker.
For no reason at all it just started to make ice very slowly, It used to make ice fast and it was always full now its almost always empty.
We use the ice but never ran out of ice be for.
If we were to leave it alone it would problably take around 3 days to fill up with ice.

Does anyone know anything that would help?

Before you start replacing parts on you ice maker, try to by-passing the filter. I filled a cup of water 1/2 way from the water dispenser and counted. Turn off you valve that supplies water to the refrigerator. The water lines are usually long enough and you don't need tools, just 10 min. Your water lines have quick releases on them, push down the sleeve toward the fitting and pull slightly on the water line. Connect your supply line into the connector your ice maker return line came from. Turn you water valve back on and check the flow of your water dispenser by counting the flow of water to half a cup. If you cut the seconds in half, this should have solved your slow ice making issue, you should have a full ben in 24 hours. You have 2 choices at this point: 1. Leave as is if you have good water. 2. Replace filter and keep giving these companies $50 every six months. Hope this helps. Good Luck Mitch
