Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/26/2012(UTC) Posts: 1		The refrigerator started to pop and it seamed to come from the freezer. It was frosting up in the freezer. I pulled it out and cleaned everything in the back. Defrosted it and cleaned both compartments. Plugedit back in at 2 PM with nothing in eather compartment. The freezer got down to 0 in about 4 hours. The refg. after 16 hours of running it was 48 at the lowest temp. Now we have put some things back in the refg. and it is not getting dowm to 50 deg. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Open the bottom panel in the fridge and check the evaporator fan motor. Possible it's frozen in the ice because the condensation drain is clogged. If the motor is running, check how the evaporator is covered with frost.
