Hi,

The spray tower of our GE potscrubber 800 (Mod: GSC800T02AD, Ser:ZL620435A) is broken. I ordered a replacement part from Appliancepartspro (WD22X154) and got it today. Seems like the new and old parts are not exactly the same!

Well, now I am not able to remover the old spray tower (and arm). I do not see any screw holding the spray arm. There is a rubber tab at the back and wonder if I have to do anything with this.

Would be very grateful if anybody could help me figure this out.
Thank you.

Here are the parts'
Replacement parts for General Electric GSC800T02AD Dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.com

The spray tower should unscrew from the spray arm. May be reverse thread.

Then remove the screw (Item 509 in Section 4).

Remove the spray arm.

Then remove spray arm mount (item 550 in Section 4). Also unscrews.
Sop up any water in the tub before doing this.

If the tab you are referring to is Item 557 in Section 4, then it has nothing to do with the removal. It is just a small flapper valve.

If you click on a part's picture then another page will open often with a Q&A section which may also be helpful to you.

Hi Denman,
Thank you for the instructions but it seems like I had the whole thing wrong.

The part I ordered based on the images associated with the model number was wrong. An online chat with the customer support team at APP helped me identify the correct part for the machine (AP2617404- the part number at APP).

Now that we know the right replacement part, do you know how to get the old one out and put the new one in. I was told the part comes with instructions but it is always good to learn from the experts.

Thank you.
