Hi, mrdrywall.

From the info you provided I think that there is a bad cold control (one on the left).

Freezer control Part number: 5304421067
Part number: 5304421067

You can use the old sleeve.

Thank you. Post the results.

Same model as the OP ET1MTMXKQ00 so just adding to the thread.
Fridge stopped working on Monday (got it going but did not figure out the problem) and then this morning before going to work.
Do not have the wiring diagram for this model (miss the old days of the diagraming being in the manual or a paper on/in the compressor area or a sticker on the fridge).
The whole fridge (no sound from the compressor, cond fan, evap fan) stopped working after it started for about 3-5 seconds. I adjusted the temperature control in the fridge and it did not start. Rotated it around to clean the contacts and then juggled it, no go (cranked it too a much cooler temperature). Eat breakfast and then opened the back up and tapped the starter on the compressor still no go. Compressor was warn to the touch as excepted but not hot. Removed the starter and gave it a shake and no rattle. Connected the wiring back to it and connected it back to the compressor, no go. Removed the starter and cond fan connecter and checked some voltages 0 volts on all as I excepted since nothing is running (with main line voltage at 120V, measured first). Did some more plugging and unplugging the main line with the starter off the compressor and the fan connector replaced. Heard no clicks until after one of the plug ins, I heard a click and the cond fan started up. Measured the voltage on the starter. Unplugged the main and unplugged the cond fan. Listened for where the click sound would come from when I plugged the main and it sounded like it was coming from somewhere to the right near where the connecter where the main connects to the fridge (maybe hearing echoes from somewhere else???). Measured the voltages on the fan and starter, 120V. Re-connected everything and all working as normal.
Any opinions on what it could be? I wanted to disconnect the wiring assembly and directly connect the main to the compressor and cond fan (jumping the wiring assembly) to the bypass the control circuit up in the fridge but had to go to work and since it started working I left it.

Hi.

You may have the problem with the defrost timer or cold control.
Next time when the fridge will be acting up locate the round opening at the bottom of the control box. Using the flat screw driver slowly turn the timer's shaft CW until it click.

If the fridge starts - replace the timer.

Thanks,
Could be as the first time I opened the fridge just as I started up and then shutdown 2 seconds later and the second time I just closed the door and then it started for the 3-5 seconds before it shutdown.
Currently working normally.

Final turned off just 5 minutes ago. The fridge started up and within 3 seconds shut off. Slowly turned the timer CW (it clicked about 5-7 times) and then the final click was louder and the fridge started up. Ran normally, shut down and then started up as normal.

Thanks for the help
