Hi, I'm troubleshooting a whirlpool washer that gives an error code F1 when we try to run the Normal cycle. The washer used to have issues when using the bulky items where the washer would have to Start, it would work for a few minutes then stop, and we would have to push Start again two more times but at least it would finish this cycle and allow clothes to wash. Since starting the troubleshooting I have checked the inlet hoses for kinks, blockages, etc. The Normal cycle still will not wash and gives the F1 error code, but now bulky items cycle works correctly. We had also checked the water pressure to see if it was giving full pressure as we had read on another forum that the washer can learn the pressure from this house and might not act right if the pressure has lessened. As far as we can tell water pressure seems fine, but if this is an issue (we have moved to a new house with the washer) is there a way to reset this so that the washer can relearn the new pressure? Also, we are thinking it is probably the control board but just want to rule out all possible scenarios before going the expensive route. Please help? Thank you!

ps~ as I was reading through the forum for the control panel I saw this post.." Hello David, The Cabrio is notorious for poor electrical connections. When you tampered with the unit, you corrected an electrical connection unknowingly. I really hate to bring it up but, if you didn't locate the poor connection, it will probably fail again. The wires aren't put into the connector on these very well and give many problems. If you could provide a valid e-mail address, we can send you some invaluable service information that you will certainly appreciate.

If it is a poor electrical connection with the connector could you please email the same info that was sent to the poster in the link above? It would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks~
