The lower oven unit of my double oven will turn on by itself. I have reset the circuit breaker controlling the ovens, but this does not help. Not long after resetting the breaker, the oven will start up, again. It seems to be using bake and heats to approx. 325-350. There is nothing displayed on the control panel (panel stays dark), but the heat exhaust fan runs. Starting the lower oven and then shutting it down will not cause it to stop. The upper oven works just fine. I replaced the control board and panel within the last 5 years. I hope not again. The breaker is off and not using the ovens.

Hi.
Make sure that the oven is not in the sabbath mode. Does Sab sign is on the display. If yes - press key #6 for 5 sec. to cancel the mode. If it's not in the sabbath mode - you need the control board.
The part number is 4453661. It's not available, contact our call center for the suggestions.
Thank you.
Simon.

I have checked the Sabbath mode and even set the preset temp down to170, but the oven still heats on its own. There is absolutely nothing displayed on the touch panel, except the time. R55 seems to be a little loose. Could a cold or broken solder joint cause this problem?

Hi.
In general any broken or loose connection may be the reason. We don't know what is R55 function is.

Hi.
If it fills loose - solder it and see if that will help.
Simon.
