My husband and 9 yr. old son are on a camping trip and coming home on Saturday....with a lot of dirty, sweaty clothes.

My GE washer is not working. Help!

It's a 6 yr old GE WCVH626F that won't tumble or spin. I want to be able to order the correct replacement part so it's here when my husband gets home and I can start on the laundry they'll be bringing.

I ran through all of the tests in test mode (with no error codes generated even though the tub did not turn during tests T10, T11 and T14) and reprogramed the control board, but no success.

I posted the question two evenings ago, but no on responded :(.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

This is a great machine, but when it has problems it is almost impossible to diagnose. What you end up doing is replacing parts and I would start with the main control unit and the inverter board. If you buy from this site and do not need the part you can return it.

Sorry you didn't get an answer the first time, and sorry not to be more specific, it's just the nature of this model.

No problem....I read in some past posts the diagnostic tests to run. I don't know if the results would help pinpoint the problem.

I'm wondering what it means when voltage was present to the inverter even before we were running the tests. Does that sound like the control board?

This does sound more like the control board than the inverter, but you are going to have to replace it to be certain.

I ordered one of each and will install them one at a time. Thanks for the info on the return policy!

Okay, first let me just say "Wow!"

I ordered the parts yesterday and since the budget wouldn't allow next day delivery, I ordered the partsfor standard delivery.....imagine my surprise when my husband returned today from camping with our son and asked "What's this package on the front porch?"

I had been hoping they would be delivered on Monday, but really expected it would be at least Tuesday. I certainly did not expect a delivery the next day on a Saturday. Kudos to AppliancePartsPros and FedEx!

We installed the control board first, but that didn't help. Turned out to be the inverter. We'll be sending the control panel back on Monday.

Thanks for the help!

Well great. Those of us who reply on this site are volunteers and we do so in part because we like to help and in large part because APP is such a great company.

Plus kudos to you for getting it installed. And yes I know the part was expensive but a service call plus the part from the service tech and you are talking $450 to $500! And that's assuming they could correctly diagnose the problem, which often they cannot.

Thanks for the update, that is very helpful to other people who view this site.
