I''m working on a Whirlpool model du8300xx-3 dishwasher for a friend that won't drain the water out. When I removed the drain hose, the water drained out freely. The drain hose was full of gunk, I cleaned it. There is a lot of lime buildup throughout. I removed all the hoses and they were clear, but did not know how to remove the grate to check under it. The drain hose is connected directly to the garbage disposal and is clear. The other functions of the dishwasher work.
