Hello,
I am having a problem with my dryer. I have checked the two thermostat, and flame sensors for continuity and they are good. The igniter glow when started. When I check the two solonoids on the gas valve, only the first solonoids operates when I first turn on the dryer. I am not sure what needs to happen for the second solonoid to activate. I tested the second solonoid and it works if it gets power to it. Need some expect help on this. Also, I looked for the thermistor and thermo fuse but cannot locate them.

Thank you
Dondopei.

Hi Dondopei,

Your dryer actually is made by LG. LG does not sell the coils separate and you have to order the whole gas valve assembly.

- The gas valve assembly Part number: 5221EL2002A
