Washer won't stop at the end of the spin cycle. Could this be a timer issue? If it is, does anyone know how difficult it would be to replace the timer?

It does sound like the timer, this part here

Part number: AP3082294
Part number: AP3082294

It is an easy repair. Take the back off the console, take off the timer knob and it will be pretty apparent how to change it out.
