We just replaced the keypad and control board yesterday. I ran a rinse cycle afterward and it seemed ok.

Today I had some dishes to wash and tried a Normal cycle. The time remaining is stuck at 97 minutes to go and it does not appear to be doing anything.

Should I wait for it to go ahead or is there a problem to be fixed still?

After about 15 mins at 97, the timer is moving again in the right direction. Seems 97 mins on a very sparse load is still too long?

Ok, now the cycle completed. The dishes are still dirty. The soap cascade pod I found in the silverware container not dissolved. It worked fine before with the pods.

Other thing we noticed is the new keypad has a 14-pin connector to the board. The original has a 15-pin connector. Did we get the wrong keypad?

The correct model number is GU2700XTSS0 and it calls for the same parts that I ordered and installed. But the dishwasher is not working right. Any suggestions?? Please help!

Customer service is telling me that the water valve may have failed and that caused the board to fail which was my original problem. So we will check the power to that valve and go from there.

Water inlet valve solenoid was ok but I found some other forums that said it to replace it anyhow. It is on order now. We ran a test and no water was coming into the washer.

I will keep this thread going until we get the durn thing working.

Just replaced the inlet valve, running a normal cycle now. Appears to be working ok so far.

Finished early - dishes not washed. Clean light is flashing now. New keypad, new control board, new inlet valve... what now?

Hi.

Read this link. You may have the bad heating element.

Thank you.

It did not blink 7 times. and I can tell the heater works when I open the door.

So I tried a "light cycle" with just a few dishes. It seemed to run ok then stopped with 58 minutes on the timer. I cancelled it and opened the door... there was steam inside so I ran the cancel/drain.

I do not know what to try now. We have spent over $300 on parts, my hubbie is an electrician so we know how to deal with most appliances.

Is it possible the new board is faulty?
