I have a Kenmore Coldspot model 106.55502400. The icemaker stopped making ice. The water to the door works just fine. I replaced the actual icemaker and still no ice. I replaced the water valve (solenoid) and made sure the lines are clear. No ice. What next? I am beyond stumped. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi.
When you replaced the icemaker did you change the wire harness too or used the old one?
Measure the freezer temperature.( Should be around 0*F.)
Check for 120VAC at the plug (black to white).
Thank you. Post the results.
Simon.

I did use a new harness. It is near 0. I can pour water into the maker and it freezes. I do not have the ability to check the plug. Everything else is functioning properly.

Hi.
Try to jump start the icecmaker. Use the jump wire 14 gauge to connect test points T and H. Remove the wire after 3 sec. This should initiate the water fill. If nothing happens, you will need to check the voltage between L and N 120VAC.
Thank you.
Simon.
