Sounds like there are rocks in my washer.... I have take the thing apart and cant find anything. Appliance parts store tested the pulley/bearing and said it is working fine. Reccomended that it is either the transmission or the brake. Spin cycle does not make the noise only the wash cycle...agitator not agitating took off and "shaft" not moving either. Please help!

I'm assuming you removed the drain part and this is the part they tested?

If this is correct, replace the trust bearing (#24 at the diagram). If it would not fix the problem, the transmission has to be replaced.
