My side by side fridge makes a clicking noise when my freezer attempts to turn on to cool. If I turn the thermostat lower the noise stops, which makes me think its a relay maybe? I want to purchase the part and fix it on my own, but I don't know what part to buy. Please help! Thank you :)

Hi. Pull out the fridge and check if the clicking sound comes from behind the metal cover on the right. If that where it comes from - you need to replace the main control board Part number: WR55X10942
Carefully read the instructions - you may need to do some adjustments. Thank you. Simon.

If the noise is from the compressor, you probably have a blown start device AP3884299

Thank you for the info. It's definitely coming from the panel in the back :)
