8 years old side by side GE refridgerator and fridge both too warm. Water and ice are not dispensed. Ice maker is not making ice but if I turn it on it seem to make the sound like when it was making the ice and droping the ice in the bin.
I have replaced the following:
Defrost thermostat, Tempreture sensor (Thermister), Defrost heater, and main contol board.
The problem is still not resolved. Bottom of the fridger is little bit cooler. Water is still not dispensed. Ice maker is not making the ice. The fan near condensing unit works.
Please help on how to diagnose the problem further. Thank you.

Remove the back freezer panel after the fridg has been running for a while. Descibe the frost pattern, partial frost, or completely frozen.

Hi, I had installed the main control board on 6/13. Fridge is on since then as of writing this message on 6/17. It seems that it is a partial frost. However, attaching the pictures to provide more accurate state. 2012-06-17 14.05.21.jpgAppRepair123 attached the following image(s):

Looks completely frosted. Measure the freezer temperature and post, should be well under 10 degrees. If not, and the condensing fan running and the compressor running constantly, you have serious refigeration problems.

Temprature at the bottom is 35 degrees and at the top is 50 degrees. The compressor is constantly running.

You have a bad compressor/refrigerant leak if the condenser coils are not hot and the compressor warm and vibrating.
