Ice maker makes ice, but it also dribble water into the collection tray where it makes a big ice block.
These forums have been helpful in suggesting that I am looking for a leak in the fill tube, but I need to know how to get the ice maker out. After I have shut off the electric and water supplies externally, how do I separate them between the ice maker and the frig body?
All/any tips will be appreciated.

If you have a leak at the fill tube it is caused by the water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in. You can disconnect the line coming out of the valve and see if it continues to drip.
If you suspect a crack in the fill tube look for screws at the top and bottom of ice maker. Loosen them and the ice maker should lift off the the brackets. Then unplug the wiring harness. I couldn't find a match for your model number so this may not be correct for your ice maker.

Thanks. The model number is from the Ice Maker, behind the pull-off white cover. It is actually written as "IM #S 106 626636". The frig model is "RT21LMXKQ00".
I assume that "the line coming out of the valve" is accessible from inside the freezer compartment, and not on the back, outside, of the frig.

I have just got into the job, and I have a large puddle of water on the floor. Looks like it came from the condensate tray underneath the frig; at least, it was still half full when I pulled it out and dumped its contents down the drain.
How could ice-maker water get into the condensate tray? Is there a drain channel from the freezer compartment down to the condensate tray?
I also see a valve at the lower right side of the back of the outside of the frig. I guess it could be failing to close properly and allowing a permanent trickle of water into the ice maker etc. Does the line that runs from the outlet of this valve up the right side of the frig (as seen from the back) go direct to the ice maker, or is there another connection before it gets there?

That where it drains to. Could it have overflowed? Disconnect it at the valve to see if it's leaking. The diagram of your ice maker shows two screws at the top and there may be one at the bottom. loosen them and lift up.
