Ok. Thought I would do a follow up. I called Appliance Parts Pros....and they sent me a new relay board. Installed it....and YES....all is well. It would appear that the first relay board they sent me was defective. It is possible to get defective parts!

To sum up. One of the symptoms that accompanied my dim display was a highly pitched sound coming from the relay board. I had to change the display AND the realy board. Not cheap....but still less than an new oven or having someone else change these parts.

Anyway.....I should be set oven wise for awhile.

Thanks for the help.

Glad to hear you have it fixed.

Bad parts out of the box is not unusual. I always check parts before installing them but with a board that is not possible.

This was not an easy fix, you should be proud of yourself.
So here is a pat on the back from me.
